Winter Season Highlights
- Boys Soccer
With their season coming to an end our team has been fighting to get the results they know they are capable of. David Manzanares, Sergio Zepeda, and Alex Dominguez are our captains and lead our team in an upward direction. Raidon Hereida has done a tremendous job at goalie keeping us in many games and showing why he's been our starter since his freshmen year. Through injuries, our team has continued to fight, hoping to end the year strong. Senior night is on February 3rd (at 6:00pm on the WDV Field) and we're hoping to get a great turnout to give our team a big farewell.

- Girls Soccer
On-Field Success for Varsity: A Winning Season
Excitement for the program was evident from the start, with nearly 70 girls participating in tryouts, surpassing the previous year’s numbers. This growth reflects the increasing enthusiasm for Wiseburn Da Vinci soccer. The Wiseburn Da Vinci Varsity squad has compiled a strong 10-7-1 record, demonstrating their development and competitiveness in a challenging league. The team has celebrated several historic victories, including:- A win over Saint Genevieve’s, a top-50 ranked team
- The first-ever victory over El Segundo High School in program history
- A win over the highly ranked Girls Academic Leadership Academy
These milestone victories highlight the team’s growing stature and ability to compete with top programs.
Standout Performances
While team success has been a collective effort, two players have delivered standout performances this season:- Goalkeeper Hailey Rosenstein has been a defensive powerhouse, leading the league in saves, providing crucial stops in high-pressure moments.
- Liya Nartey has been a relentless offensive force, leading the league in goals scored, helping propel the team to critical victories.
Junior Varsity Team: A Promising Future
The junior varsity program has provided a strong foundation for younger players looking to develop their skills at a competitive level. While the team’s record has been fairly balanced between wins and losses, the real success has been in the rapid growth and improvement of its players. Comprised largely of underclassmen, this group has demonstrated tremendous potential, with many players making significant strides in technical ability, tactical awareness, and overall confidence on the field. Standout players include the team captains, Sophie Owens, Sadie Owens, and Maddie Devine. As these athletes continue to gain experience, they are expected to become key contributors to the program’s future success, ensuring that Wiseburn Da Vinci soccer remains competitive for years to come.Looking Ahead: A Historic Playoff Push
With just two league games remaining, Wiseburn Da Vinci is in prime position to qualify for the CIF Division 3 Playoffs for the first time in program history.
