I am writing to update you on reopening events that will take place this coming week.
March 22: School Administrators and Staff are reaching out to families to confirm students who will opt to return for on-campus activities. If you were unable to attend your school’s information session, recordings of each session can be found HERE. We anticipate that the process of confirming students who choose to return may take a number of days, and so if you have questions about your school’s specific reopening plan, please contact your school administrators.
March 23: A Da Vinci Survey will go out Tuesday morning to all families to gather updated feedback on our process and plans for reopening. We encourage your participation in this survey, which will be presented to our Board of Trustees at the March 25th 5PM Board meeting. Please also note that research scientists at UCLA CRESST are validating our survey data, including previous survey data, and the Da Vinci Board of Trustees look forward to a robust discussion at our Board meeting.
March 25th: The next Da Vinci Schools Board Meeting at 5PM will be held with the following agenda:
- Public Comment
- Review of Parent Feedback & Wiseburn USD letter
- Health & Safety Update
- Survey Data Presentation
- School Site Presentations – updates from the March 10th Board presentation (followed by optional Public Comment)
As we approach reopening of on-campus activities on April 12th, we will continue to update you through organizational updates such as this one, along with information from your school(s). You can also find additional information about our reopening plans on our Da Vinci Schools website.
