Viviana feels honored to be able to join the Da Vinci Communications team as a Teacher Resident in Special Education. She’s excited to embrace all the innovative ways DVC is revolutionizing education. She is a proud south bay resident and UCLA alumni. Viviana began her journey as an educator as an after-school program provider at Lennox Middle School. She then worked as a one-to-one instructional aide, at Juan Cabrillo Elementary and finally became a substitute teacher for the Lennox and Wiseburn Unified School Districts. Viviana is passionate about helping others and is driven by compassion and her values of justice and equality. She takes pride in fostering a safe space for students to learn and grow as individuals. As a student teacher, her goal is to learn from all the great staff at DVC, as well as to take advantage of the opportunity to get to know the students and their families. Viviana enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, visiting new places, and trying new foods.
