This year marks Schehrezade’s 15th year as a founding teacher at Da Vinci Schools, specifically at Da Vinci Science. Schehrezade was born and raised in Southern California. After teaching English 9 & Composition for several years, she switched over to English 11, where she is thoroughly enjoying the exploration of American Literature with her juniors. Schehrezade earned her Bachelor’s degree in English, along with a minor in Educational Studies from the University of California, Irvine in 2008. Shortly after, she completed her Master’s degree in Education, from Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology in 2009. In her spare time, Schehrezade enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, visiting museums, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband and family. She feels so fortunate to work alongside such exceptional educators, academic coaches and students, and feels grateful to be a part of Da Vinci Schools.
