Noemy Carrillo teaches Spanish 1 at Da Vinci Communications. She grew up in Los Angeles county in the small city of Paramount, CA. She received both her Spanish B.A. and teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona. Noemy believes multilingualism is a vital tool to global awareness allowing learners to become more analytic, creative, and empathetic. She aims to support her students in multiple ways so that they may benefit from and understand the advantages of multilingualism. When she is not teaching Noemy enjoys trying activities such as skateboarding, snowboarding, kick boxing, yoga and riding her bike at the beach.
