Karla Mondragon teaches Spanish 1 at Da Vinci Communications. She is a born and raised Angeleno and grew up near Culver City. She received a B.A. in mass communications and minored in marketing at Cal State University Dominguez Hills. She then worked locally in the south bay in hospitality and advertising industries before going into teaching. She comes from a family of educators, specifically Spanish teachers. She has taught in inner city charter schools for over 8 years as a Spanish and English Language Development teacher.
