With over 12 years of experience working with at-promise youth in independent study and alternative education settings, Jonathan has built a dedicated career focused on guiding youth through challenges and towards success. He has developed and implemented intervention programs, mentored at-promise youth, and collaborated with community organizations to provide comprehensive support services.
Jonathan has led teams in creating programs aimed at rehabilitation and personal development, focusing on helping youth understand their power to improve their communities and advocate for social justice.
Central to his work is a deep commitment to empathy, resilience, and understanding the systemic issues affecting young people. Jonathan is also pursuing a doctoral degree at California State University, Fullerton, in educational leadership focusing on transformative education through civic engagement and social justice. His approach emphasizes building trusting relationships with both youth and their families, establishing a solid foundation for effective interventions.
