Jennifer Shinn is a Long Beach native who received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mathematics with an Option in Education from CSU Long Beach. Having struggled in math herself, she has a passion for teaching math with the belief that every student is capable of succeeding in math. Feeling that communication is the key to making connections with her students and people she meets when traveling, Jennifer speaks many languages with various levels of fluency including Spanish, Italian, and some Japanese, French, and German. She loves to travel, make new friends everywhere she goes, eat food and meet with people from various cultures.
