Grace Long is the Principal at Da Vinci Science. Prior to joining Da Vinci, Grace has been a public school educator in the area for the past 20 years, serving in El Segundo Unified School District and Lawndale Elementary School District. She has enjoyed the K-12 experience in her different roles as an elementary and secondary school teacher, language arts specialist, instructional coach, and administrator. She has extensive experience in data driven instruction and academic interventions, and enjoys the process of transforming research-based theories into real-life classroom practices. She is also a published author for Scholastic, and provides professional development and consulting services to various districts across the state.
Grace received her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Sociology and Education from UCLA, making her a true LA fan. (Go Bruins, Lakers, Dodgers, and Kings!). She enjoys long walks, sweet treats, and needs coffee every morning. She is incredibly grateful for her family and loves playing with her three children at home, Jadon, Corban, and Evie.
She is very excited and honored to be a part of the Da Vinci family and has loved getting to know staff, students, and families.
