Frank Divinagracia, a native of Hawthorne, joined Da Vinci Schools during the inaugural 2009-2010 school year. Prior to Da Vinci, he taught as an Olympian at Leuzinger High School for 13 years, where he served as a teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and mentor. He also has instructed at many different UCLA summer institutes and programs in math. Frank earned his B.S. in Math as well as his Master’s degree in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles (Go Bruins!). He is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Mathematics. He has experience researching the best institutes and educational strategies throughout Southern California, even visiting places as far off as Japan. Frank is a firm believer in the vision of Da Vinci and is an ardent supporter of “learn by application” that is the foundation of a Da Vinci education.
