Francisca Marquez was born in Santiago, Chile and grew up in Santa Monica, CA. She’s had the privilege of serving as a College Counselor for Da Vinci Science since 2011 where her primary responsibility is assisting students and families navigate the college application process. Francisca is passionate about guiding students toward their educational aspirations. She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies with a minor in Chicano/a Studies from UCLA and a Master’s in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. Francisca is also an Instructor in the College Counseling Certificate Program at UCLA Extension. When she is not counseling or teaching, you can find her either on her yoga mat, spending time with her family or dancing Mexican Folkorico.
