Erika Magaña was born in Mexico City and raised in Southern California. She began teaching at Da Vinci Science in 2013. She completed her Spanish Language and Literature B.A. with a minor in Communications at California State Dominguez Hills in Carson. As a Spanish teacher, Erika enjoys teaching students about the richness of the culture as well has the structure of the language. In the summer of 2015, Erika taught 4th grade English in Nanjing, China. While teaching in China, she was able to explore different cities, take mandarin workshops and participate in culture festivities.
When she’s not teaching, she spends her time traveling. Erika has now passed on her love for traveling to her students and has taken them to Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Costa Rica, France and hopes to take students on more adventures.
Erika is thrilled to be part of the Da Vinci family.
