Elena McBee is a South Bay native who joined the Da Vinci Science family in 2016 to teach 12th grade Government & Economics and advise the Youth & Government program. She holds a BA from UCLA in History and a MA in Education from the University of Maryland. She spent almost six years living on the East Coast, but moved back because the West Coast is truly the best coast!
Elena loves teaching and is passionate about student discourse. When she’s not in the classroom, Elena enjoys reading a good book, spending quality time with her family, and playing with her children.
