Crissel Rodriguez was born in Mexico and raised in Southeast Los Angeles. After high school, Crissel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles, and spent some time working with social justice organizations and political campaigns. She served as the Government Relations Intern at the Orange County Transportation Authority, and as a Research Fellow for the Women’s Foundation of California. Her passions and interests led her to earn a Master’s degree in International Studies from Chapman University. She went on to pursue a career in education working with at-promise and systems-impacted youth at Soledad Enrichment Charter High School and New Village Girls Academy. She currently holds Career Technical Education credentials in Business, Marketing, and Education.
Crissel is committed to seeing every student succeed and achieve their dreams. In her role at Da Vinci, she provides high-quality real-world learning programming so Da Vinci’s diverse learners can thrive inside and outside of the classroom through internships and connections with industry leaders. When she is not working, you can find her being a foodie, curled up with a good book, hiking around Los Angeles, learning Korean, or spending time with her dog, Betsy.
