Chris Miller is excited to join the central office team as Director of Data & Equity. Chris received a B.A. in History and a Teaching Credential from Cal State Long Beach. He started working in education as a high school history teacher serving the highly impacted student population of East Los Angeles. Later, Chris taught P.E. and served as an English Language Development teacher for elementary and middle school students. In 2011, Chris was awarded a federal scholarship to participate in the Charter and Autonomous Schools Leadership Academy (CASLA), an accelerated graduate program for aspiring school leaders working in underserved communities. Through the program he received his administrative service credential as well as his master’s degree in Educational Administration. Chris has worn many hats as a school leader including student success coordinator, instructional coach, ELD coordinator, athletics director, operations coordinator and assistant and interim principal. He has also presented at conferences at the state and national level and been a guest professor presenting on topics such as data visualization and MTSS systems. Chris is proud to now be able to bring his talents and expertise to Da Vinci Schools and help serve every one of our students to the highest degree possible.
