Candace Linton

Teacher, Da Vinci Science

Candace’s love and passion for history began at a young age and continued on into her college years. She received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA majoring in history and minoring in education. She later went on to get her first master’s degree in history from CSUN. Being a life-long Bruin, she then returned to UCLA to get her second master’s in education and a teaching credential in history with an emphasis in ethnic studies from UCLA’s Teacher Education Program. Candace has a passion for history and teaching and combining the two has been a dream. She wants to inspire her students and empower them through learning about their own history as well as the history of others.  When she is not teaching, Candace loves to read, work out, and spend time with family and friends.
