Angel “Max” Maxwell is the 11th and 12th grade Marketing Teacher at Da Vinci Communications. Max grew up in Southern California in the Inland Empire. Max obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Concentration in Entrepreneurship) , with a minor in Industrial Psychology, at California State University, San Bernardino. Max then later had gone to attain his Master in Higher Education Leadership at Valdosta State University in Valdosta Georgia. Upon graduating Max had spent the next 5 years working at the University of Southern California as a Residential College Coordinator where he helped establish and sustain their residential curriculum that further contributed to the social and academic integration of the overall learning experience of incoming first year college students. Max had taken a break from higher education to work for a number of start up tech companies as a full cycle recruiter while simultaneously starting his own life/ wellness coaching business.
When not at work, Max likes to spend his time with his furbaby Elliot (cockapoo), going on hikes, concerts, reading for leisure and learning new things (currently taking salsa lessons, playing ukulele/ guitar and Spanish lessons)
Max has always had a passion towards collaborative learning with students and is excited to incorporate their lived experiences and skills to contribute to the growth and development of the students of the Da Vinci Community.
