Amy Sy has been teaching Spanish at Da Vinci since 2011. Originally from New Hampshire, she found her passion for language in high school where her Spanish teacher Kathleen Desmond inspired her to take it to the next level through studying abroad! Amy has studied/lived in Costa Rica, Spain and Mexico. Amy has a B.A. from Cal Poly Pomona in Business Administration, with a minor in Spanish, as well as a M.A. from California State University, Long Beach in Spanish Literature and Linguistics. Amy’s hobbies include chasing her two children around the beach, coaching soccer, biking, volleyball, running, skiing and EATING (a lot)! She has a major sweet tooth and one of her favorite guilty pleasures is a good cup of coffee and a pastry! Mmm…
