Ajane’ Dodson is a 12th grade English Teacher at Da Vinci Communications. She grew up in Compton, California, which has shaped many of her views on education. Ajane’ obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Creative Writing, at the University of California, Riverside. After finishing her undergraduate education, Ajane’ completed the Disney College Program internship at Disneyland, and remained as a full-time cast member for two years. Following this, Ajane’ worked for American Airlines for a year, while completing her Masters in Secondary Education at Loyola Marymount University.
Ajane’ is excited to continue to develop her practice as an educator. Her love for English literature, along with her passion for social justice, serve as guiding inspirations for her teaching practice. In her free time Ajane’ enjoys reading, playing ukulele, and spending time with her cat, Maui.
