Celebrating the Class of 2024

Family and friends gathered earlier this month to celebrate Da Vinci Schools' Class of 2024 in five graduations and an 8th grade promotion ceremony. Close to 7,500 people attended the ceremonies to see 496 seniors from Da Vinci Communications, Connect, Design, RISE and Science graduate, and 71 8th grade Connect students take part in a promotion ceremony. Wiseburn Middle School 8th grade students also graduated in a separate ceremony held in the WDV Gym.

All the commencements were full of pride, joy and excitement as student speakers shared eloquent and inspiring stories about how much they learned and grew while at Da Vinci. Many student speakers said they felt cared for and supported at Da Vinci which gave them the courage to step out of their comfort zone. There were many powerful pieces of advice around perseverance, passion, believing in yourself, pursuing one's dreams, holding your friends and family close, and making an impact.

"Now it's time to dig deep and do," shared Da Vinci Design Habits of Mind Speaker Amelia Griffin. "It's time to go out, pursue our dreams, and make an impact for ourselves and for the community around us."
