Brand Identity Resources & Toolkit

Da Vinci Schools' Brand and Identity Guidelines

Da Vinci's brand identity connects our community with the hearts and minds of our audiences, our people and programs—and the stories we want to tell. We do this through logos, typefaces, colors, imagery and words. When applied consistently, these elements make our stories, webpages, materials, and social media more recognizable and memorable. We encourage you to learn more about Da Vinci's brand identity by exploring this webpage and downloading what you can use.

The following guidelines were created to help bring consistency and clarity to the way we communicate about Da Vinci Schools, whether it occurs in print, digital, or on promotional items.

Logos

The primary Da Vinci Schools logo -- known as the "bright orange paintbrush logo" --  is the keystone of our visual identity. This logo, or a school or program logo, should be used on all communications materials. Using the logos consistently will enhance the recognition of Da Vinci Schools by all audiences. School/program logos can replace the primary Da Vinci Schools logo on printed and digital materials; it is not necessary to use both logos.

The strongest, preferred way to use the logos is on a white background. When a color background is unavoidable, we prefer to use the negative logo (white type on a color background). Previous versions of the Da Vinci logo (known as the "gun" logo) should not be used. Please see the Brand Book for further guidelines about proper usage.

All Da Vinci logos are available for download to Da Vinci staff with a davincischools.org email account. We ask that you please do not share the logos with students without pre-approval.

Color Palette

Da Vinci Orange is used across all logos, with each school name being represented in their respective colors. Adhering to the color guidelines will help to create a consistent image and maintain the visual impact of the identity.
