Da Vinci Community Rallies to Support Wildfire Relief

In an inspiring display of generosity, our Da Vinci community came together this month to provide crucial support to those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles donating 2,012 sack lunches and much more! Over the course of three days, our students, families, local organizations, and volunteers banded together to make a significant difference in the lives of wildfire victims, frontline workers, and volunteers.

A Record-Breaking 2,012 Lunches Donated
The most remarkable accomplishment was the donation of 2,012 sack lunches to wildfire victims, first responders, and volunteers in the Altadena and Pasadena areas. With 984 lunches donated on the final day alone, the efforts of the Da Vinci community surpassed all expectations. These meals were provided to those in need, offering not just food, but comfort and solidarity in the midst of a devastating disaster. Our Da Vinci community also donated dozens and dozens of cases of water, Gatorade, protein bars, fruit, jerky, chips, cookies, and much more.

The donations came from a wide variety of contributors: Da Vinci students and families, local Girl Scout troops, church groups, and many other community members. This collective effort was a powerful reminder of the strength of the Da Vinci spirit and the incredible impact we can make when we come together for a common cause.
