Sarah Nitsos embarked on her journey with Da Vinci as the mother of Calvin Nitsos, currently a graduate of DVS. Her daughter, Sabrina, initially attended DVC before transferring to an arts high school, where she is focused on dance. When Sarah is not coaching archery, she works in the Wiseburn Unified School District. Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah has been a part of the educational landscape for over 20 years.
With experience as both a classroom teacher in 3rd and 5th grade and a site principal at a TK-5th grade school, Sarah currently serves as the District Coordinator in Educational Services in WUSD. Coaching former students is a special delight for her.
Since 2020, she has volunteered as a WDV Archery coach. Whether introducing novices to the sport or refining the skills of seasoned archers, Sarah takes pride in the team’s commitment to excellence and sportsmanship, values instilled by the entire coaching staff.
Drawing from her background in musical and straight theatre, Sarah infuses her coaching style with creativity, using imaginative visuals to enhance archers’ form. In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, talking with her children, reading historical fiction, practicing archery, and skiing whenever possible.
