Mylah Wessels started with Da Vinci as the proud mom of son, Tyler, who attended DVS. When Mylah is not coaching volleyball at DV, she is a Paralegal with the Law Offices of Baker & Oring LLP. Born in the Philippines, Mylah is a graduate of UCLA where she received dual degrees in History and Political Science.
In addition to working in the legal arena for over 20 years, Mylah has been heavily involved in volunteer and leadership activities with Los Angeles Unified School District and a number of nonprofit organizations. Over the years she has served in many positions including President of the PTA/PTO as well as Governance Council Member at both Kentwood Elementary School and Orville Wright Middle School. She has also served as President of the Westchester Council PTA and has volunteered for numerous other committees and was an AYSO coach, Board Member for the Westchester Del Rey Little League and Special Children’s Art Foundation.
Mylah is married to John Wessels and they are parents of two extraordinary children, Kira and Tyler. In her free time, Mylah enjoys reading, cooking and baking, and activities such as camping, hiking and playing volleyball indoors and outdoors. She has played volleyball since high school and continues to play with her women and coed teams. She treasures the time that is able to spend with her family and their incorrigible dogs.
